The ACE POS dashboard can be configured as your default screen, meaning you’ll return to it automatically after completing an order. Here’s an overview of its main features and functionalities:
Order Types #
- Walk-In:
For quick orders at the counter without needing customer details. Ideal for fast-paced environments. - Dine-In:
- Displays a floor plan for table selection before order placement (useful for restaurants with table service).
- If no floor/table setup is available, it navigates directly to the menu screen.
- Pick-Up:
Designed for telephone orders where customers place an order to pick up later. - Delivery:
Opens a delivery dialog for entering customer details and delivery address. Includes tools for delivery charge calculation.
Key Dashboard Features #
- Order List:
Displays all orders from the current shift. You can retrieve, recall, edit, print, or cancel orders. - Online Orders:
Lists online delivery and pick-up orders for the current shift. - Switch Menu:
Allows switching between multiple menus (e.g., Breakfast or Dinner), each with unique products/dishes. - Table Booking:
Features a calendar for viewing bookings, including online, manual, and telephone bookings. - Delivery Orders:
A filtered view of all delivery orders (both online and telephone). - Pick-Up Orders:
Lists all telephone and online pick-up orders. - Driver Pay:
Tracks each driver’s completed deliveries and cash collected. Displays totals for both deliveries and cash. - End Shift:
Ends the current shift, clears sales data from the device, and prepares the system for a new shift.
